ICFF and the co-located WantedDesign Manhattan bring together over 450 design brands from more than 30 countries. because of the focus on original and sustainable design in the residential, contract and hospitality environment.
This year's ICFF show did not disappoint! Since we are constantly on the hunt for innovative furniture, fixtures, and materials this show is always a must on our calendar. We saw some familiar vendors who had incredible new collections and met new brands that are inspiring us for upcoming projects!
A new vendor from California caught our attention with their all natural fiber rugs. Each fiber is constructed with eco-friendly dyes and a gorgeously subtle palette. Their soft patterns mixed with hand woven low and high piles add a unique touch we haven't seen in a while.
Next on our list is a British vendor creating bathroom accessories, taps, showers/ door and window hardware. Manufacturing from Birmingham England, they specialize in handmade premium brassware and we couldn't get enough of their stunning collections.
Function and form come together beautifully in their designs. If you are a brass fan like us you would totally appreciate the quality and beauty of these pieces. Hardware specifically is such an important selection for us and our clients because it is the most touched feature in a home so it should be special and create a conversation.
When it comes to brass, we've come to learn some people love it and some don't. Brass is a natural material like stone so it will age and patina with time but that is what we love about it so much. Each piece transforms and gets better with age!
It was hard to select a top vendor in the furniture and lighting categories so here are our favorites!
When looking for new vendors to work with and source from, our focus is on quality, function and design. Each space we design will never look or feel the same so we are constantly building and growing our vendor portfolio. Our clients come to us for elevated designs that are unique and timeless. Some projects are more modern and some transitional so we need to be ready to have the right pieces to fill their spaces!
Below are our "best in class" for furniture and lighting
A NYC trip wouldn't be complete without a fun dinner. We found a sweet little restaurant in lower Manhattan called Pietro Nolita. If you like Pink you'd be in Heaven! The team shared a bunch of delicious plates and of course cocktails! Their frozen margaritas hit the spot after a long day at the show! Next time you're in NYC, go check them out its a total vibe!
